Why this is the impact boundary
IncidentBridge does not assume that every minute reclaimed becomes one minute of lower MTTR. The stronger, auditable claim is that external vendor phone work competes for the same operator attention used for diagnosis, mitigation, stakeholder coordination, and recovery verification.
The phone agent collects evidence. Local health checks and a human incident commander still own recovery truth.
What a production pilot should measure
- Manual operator minutes per vendor-support interaction.
- Human approval/review minutes after delegation.
- Share of calls that route to
needs_human. - Evidence completeness for ticket/status/ETA/workaround fields.
- Duplicate-call rate after ambiguous outcomes.
- Unauthorized-call rate and false-success rate — both should remain zero.
